Our goal is to build lasting relationships by earning our customers' trust. We will accomplish this through fair, honest, and above-board dealings. We want the entire building experience to be as pleasant as possible. We appreciate our customers' business and vow to never take it for granted.

Rick and Bonnie Harder are the owners/operators of Northern Paradise Homes, LLC.
Rick and Bonnie reside in Burnett County, Wisconsin, near Benoit Lake.
Rick Harder is native to the area, attended Spooner High School, and has lived here most of his life. For the past five years, Rick has been an insurance agent for Trade Lake Mutual Insurance Company based in Frederic, WI – this is in addition to his duties as owner of Northern Paradise Homes. Rick’s background experience includes building 2 personal homes, 2 years remodeling and site building homes for Soelle Construction, as well as involvement general contracting 35 home projects from 1999 to 2002, while in a previous partnership. After Rick realized the popularity of systems built homes and discovered that it is truly a better way to build homes, he, along with the support of business associates and friends began Northern Paradise Homes, LLC in 2003, with Bonnie at his side.
Since then, Rick has general contracted many more modular & panelised home projects. He has sold homes for 6 different modular companies and has toured many industry facilities throughout the Mid-west. In addition to offering quality modular homes from Sterling Modular and Energy Mate Modular, Northern Paradise Homes is also offering custom, state of the art, panelized homes from Amwood Custom Homes, based in Janesville, WI. Providing Amwood Custom Homes allows greater flexibility in plans as well as the entire home building process. Many customers even choose to be their own "General" and finish their own projects. The addition of Amwood Custom Homes gives Northern Paradise Homes the ability to tap into over 40 years of building experience. We have over 250 featured plans at our disposal and also have the ability to build just about anything from our customer's plans and ideas. Amwood is a first rate company and has been a great addition for Northern Paradise Homes.
Bonnie Harder originally hails from the Eau Claire area and later moved with her family to the Cambridge/Lake Mills area. She is a graduate of the U.W. Whitewater with a degree in elementary teaching and an associate degree in accounting. Bonnie has worked previously with her ex-husband in his masonry business. A personal accomplishment for Bonnie was when with only the help of her daughter, she completely re-roofed her own home. The project was a total success – the roof shed water and there were no leaks!
Bonnie is a vital part of the success of Northern Paradise Homes, she has been with Rick since he started working in the modular home business and has gained a wealth of knowledge about the industry. Her vast knowledge in blueprint reading offers customers a valuable insight while working on their projects. Bonnie is well versed regarding construction and the features offered in systems built homes, being on the floor in the model often, this comes in handy when answering customer questions.
Bonnie is in charge of accounting and works closely with a C.P.A. Her work behind the scenes keeps Northern Paradise Homes running smoothly, especially when Rick needs to be out on job sites.
